Due to continuing growth and development of Merlin's attractions and brands on a global scale, we are looking for a Stock Planning Administrator to join our Retail Procurement department on a permanent basis. The role will be based at our Thorpe Park office, with a hybrid element for those looking for more flexibility.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Order Processing:

  • Place orders with suppliers promptly
    • Follow up on open purchase orders and cancel outdated ones
  • ️ Liaise with suppliers to solve issues and escalate serious problems
  • Update order sheets to calculate suggested orders for attractions
  • Produce standard reports as requested

️ Administrative Support:

  • Regularly maintain accurate data in all relevant systems, including item setup, raising purchase orders, and amending pricing
  • ️ Ensure system accuracy and report any issues through proper channels
  • Maintain organized filing of documents for easy retrieval
  • Assist Supply Chain Manager with last-mile delivery to attractions and generate necessary documentation

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

  • Act as the primary contact for attractions, promptly addressing queries and managing expectations
  • Participate proactively in regular stock calls for attractions
  • Adhere to department processes and procedures
Qualifications & Experience:
  • A positive outlook and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
  • Numerate, including basic knowledge of creating formulas in Excel spreadsheet with good attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach
  • Sound knowledge of common IT systems especially Microsoft packages including Teams and Excel
  • Experience of working in an administrative role in a dynamic office environment desirable but not essential
