We work closely with many other areas of the business but most notably stores, store operations, digital growth, product and design teams.

What you'll be doing

You will be responsible in helping to define and deliver a market beating fitting service, focusing on customer first metrics to drive improvements and grow sales.

A key responsibility will be to deliver operational fitting excellence and a mindset of continuous improvement, ensuring quality, speed and service metrics are met.

The role will be data and insight led to support and decision making and you will need to co-ordinate with central functions and suppliers to implement and drive performance plans.

The role will be key in supporting the development of our fitters, ensuring that our L&D offers support the customer experience and technical skills to offer a best in class fitting service.

What we'll look for in you

  • Customer first mindset, helping to shape and drive key developments in the fitting in home experience.
  • Understand the market to ensure you are competitively reviewing our offer and evolving where relevant.
  • Being proactive in finding new ways to drive efficiency or sales.
  • Continually review and improve operational processes and internal processes, ensuring visibility to the M2M Central Team to deliver efficiency/utilisation and ways of working.
  • Ability to lead a remote team, keeping them engaged and motivated.
  • Ensuring great training and development are aligned and relevant
  • Being data driven and insight led to ensure you hit your key KPI's such as fitter utilisation and efficiency.
  • Driving a culture of compliance, a low remake KPI, working with manufacturing to improve product and packaging if required.
  • Building and maintaining great relationships through effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Networked Leadership skills, identifying and developing trusted relationships with relevant stakeholders and interdependent functions
  • Strategic mindset and the ability to think longer term. Involving identifying trends and making informed decisions based on available data to improve operational efficiency and drive business growth
  • Effective communication is crucial, understanding the needs of various stakeholders, including M2M team members
  • Strong problem-solving skills will help identify root causes, develop solutions and implement changes to overcome the various challenges and problems that will require quick and effective solutions
  • You should be comfortable working with numbers, analysing operational metrics and performance, making data-driven decisions
  • The business landscape is constantly evolving and you need to be adaptable and flexible, open to change and adjusting strategies to the changing market conditions. All with consideration for the impact on colleagues and customer, and retaining a level of consistency to the proposition to drive trust
  • Managing your own time and multiple tasks is a common challenge in this role with multiple varied stakeholders. Time management skills are required to prioritise tasks, meet deadline and ensure efficient use of resources Excellent people leader
  • Comfortable analysing and using data to drive decision making.
  • Established stakeholder manager and experience of dealing with people at various levels.
