Pharmacy Shop Manager

We are a busy independent pharmacy based in Westbourne, attached to a large medical centre with approximately 25,000 patients. Our fantastic team consists of pharmacists, technicians, dispensers and counter staff. We also have great training opportunities and links to other healthcare sectors.

We are looking for a keen and organised shop manager that can serve our customers, manage shop ordering and product ranges. You will be working closely with our deputy manager to tailor our stock in alignment with health promotion campaigns and with seasonal changes. You will also have an important role serving our customers in a friendly manner and maintain an efficient and high quality service.

You must be computer literate and be able to adapt to using new computer software. Retail experience required, pharmacy experience preferred but not essential. You must be willing to work as part of a team and be eager to help with all aspects of the role.

The successful applicant must be able to do the minimum following hours: Monday 10am-6pm, Thursday 9am-5pm & Friday 10am-6pm. We also require the successful applicant to be flexible to work some additional hours on occasion to facilitate their management role as well as helping with covering annual leave for other members of staff in the shop.

As a busy pharmacy, we need our staff to be reliable and trustworthy so we are able to provide a stable and efficient service for our patients and customers. We would like our new team member to have a keen interest in health, to help promote health campaigns and the various services we offer.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £11.84 per hour

Expected hours: 22.5 - 26 per week
