About The Role

Exciting opportunity alert! We are looking for 2 Commissioning Engineers to join our team in Kirkintilloch. This fixed-term contract until May 1, 2025, could lead to a permanent position.

What will I be doing?

• Handling calls & email requests from Field Engineers commissioning 4G routers
• Documenting and commissioning new equipment according to customer specifications
• Checking mobile network signals are within spec or giving advice on steps to bring within scope
• Administration tasks including recording the commissioning work and onboarding new sites with full details to accept them into full service for the customer
• Multi-tasking is a large part of the role with many requests coming in across the Country from a team of upto 30 Field Engineers
• Occasional fault diagnostics and effective troubleshooting will be required, so a good understanding and experience of similar support environments is advantageous.

What is needed from me?

Essentials

• Strong attention to detail & accuracy

• Ability to manage workload and inbound support requests via phone/email

• Experience of multi-tasking in a fast paced support environment

• Great telephone support skills & record keeping

• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office products especially Microsoft Excel

• Good communication skills essential for this role

Preferable

• Understanding of Networking and IP addressing

• Basic understanding of Routing over Cisco devices

• Knowledge of 4G LTE connectivity
