Job introduction

We need you to translate operational issues across diverse services, understanding inter-dependencies, to deliver organisational outcomes. Using your extensive knowledge of the operation of schools and funding arrangements together with knowledge of the policy and statutory framework of school organisation and place planning.
Fixed term for: 24 months to support the change necessary in the city's schools.

About the role
You will lead, devise, implement and oversee changes to the organisation of the city's schools in response to the impact of falling pupil numbers and financial pressures and to provide leadership of the School Organisation Strategy and any school organisation matters that the School Organisation Team is responsible for. This will include line management of members of the School Organisation Team as required.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
