Job Description JOB TITLE: Device Operations & Insights Lead SALARY: £86,964 - £102,310 LOCATION: Leeds HOURS: Full-time WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites. About this opportunity Working as part of the Modern Workplace Technology organisation, the Devices Operations Lead within our Devices Lab is responsible for driving service excellence, building insights, and helping transform end-user productivity and experience across our various device offerings (Windows, Virtual, Mac, Mobile). This is a senior leadership level role and will blend both deep domain& technical expertise with great passion for coaching and developing people in a “player-coach” model including advocation for team wellbeing. As an advocate for service, you will be committed to fostering the growth of individuals and cultivating a service-oriented community. This role involves providing effect support to Lloyds colleagues when they need it as well as developing actionable insights that improve the colleague experience. What you'll work on:
- Be accountable for all Device service operations, partnering effectively with our service desk and Modern Workplace Feature and Component Teams, to oversee day-to-day operations of the service across our Devices lab.
- Be an effective escalation point of contact for production issues and serve as a vocal customer advocate inside Devices Lab
- Be accountable for Service Insights across the Devices lab utilising ITSM & DEX tooling, as well as driving both reactive & proactive remediation of issues.
- Ensure the Devices lab delivers a robust Level 2 incident-solving and issue coordination capability
- Support capability of front-line customer facing teams offering training, knowledge, insights, and automation and participate in regular service review meetings
- Build relationships that support incident resolution beyond the device's lab portfolio for critical areas of the business (e.g. networking, security, applications)
- Manages definition, prioritisation & delivery of the Device Insights backlog
- Ensures the delivery organisation is properly resourced with appropriate planning for growth, and all the delivery teams have been trained in appropriate methodologies and understand their role in the organisation while informally coaching and mentoring others throughout the organisation and investing in own personal development.
- Champions and delivers a DevOps/SRE approach, engineering products for operational automation and self-service
- Develops and delivers budget plans & TCO for products & services within given area.
- Develops and delivers a plan for a specific area of responsibility by managing others.
- Sets objectives and takes responsibility for implementing team's performance management systems with guidance from senior colleagues.
- Develops and delivers contingency plans for significant aspects of the risk management and control processes.
- Ensures suppliers are delivering required levels of service while reporting to senior colleagues.
- Develops innovative solutions by integrating and analysing complex and diverse information sources.
- Manages the development and/or delivery of an element of the organisation's strategic planning including input the Modern Workplace QBR.

- Extensive experience of End User Technologies - particularly Microsoft Intune, Application Delivery, Windows Operating Systems,
- Extensive experience of IT Service Management in an enterprise environment.
- Passionate about customer experience and outcomes driven by technology
You will also lead a team in this role, and you'll need to
- Focus on your team to ensure they have the appropriate training in our methodologies and understand their role in the organisation.
- Coach and mentor others throughout the organisation, taking responsibility for development of self and others, actively seeking, and providing feedback.
- Develop and deliver a plan for a specific area of responsibility by managing others.
- Set objectives and takes responsibility for implementing team's performance management systems with guidance from senior colleagues.
And any experience of these would be really useful
- A good understanding of Security & Compliance requirements in regulated environments
- Experience support MacOS in an enterprise environment.
- Experience of DEX tooling for measurement & proactive improvement of user experience.
