Job Responsibility:

The Wellbeing and Recovery Partnership, which is a formal partnership between Dorset Health Care and Dorset Mental Health Forum are excited to recruit into this Advanced Lived Experience Lead role for Trauma Informed Approaches. We are looking to recruit an individual with experience of operational, educational, clinical, or strategic leadership who also has lived experience of distress understood as ‘personality disorder' or complex emotional needs or complex trauma. This role will require the intentional sharing and use of their own Lived Experience expertise in all aspects of the work. The successful candidate will work alongside our other Advanced Lived Experience Lead in Trauma Informed Approaches. The leads will develop trauma informed training with a focus on Trauma, Complex Trauma and Safety. They are responsible for the training and development of a cohort of trainers, including their induction, development, support and the delivery of high quality lived-experience specific supervision in partnership with the Recovery Education Centre, our Recovery College and Dorset Mental Health Forum. They will co-develop and co-deliver a local strategy for Trauma Informed Approaches and will need to work collaboratively with the leads in both Dorset HealthCare and Dorset Mental Health Forum.
