About the Role
We are looking for a Membership Administrator to join us in our team.
You will be contacting companies and requesting information or advising on required activities for them to achieve or maintain certification. This will involve liaising with certificated companies, often by telephone to explain the information needed, establish reasonable timescales and then set reminders where information is not received, while maintaining data on our CRM.
In addition, you will support member businesses through answering telephone enquiries and emails and providing information or directing them to membership services available.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about driving service improvement and looking to apply their analytical and interpersonal skills.
The role is part time, with fixed hours, however, the start and finish times can be discussed and agreed on appointment.

About you
- Strong influencing and verbal communication skills
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients to achieve outcomes
- Experience of working to quality assurance systems
- Ability to review documented evidence against set criteria with accuracy and attention to detail being of paramount importance
- Good understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft office applications including CRM software, outlook, word and excel.
- Ability to work with energy, commitment, and resilience under pressure.
About APHC
The Association of Plumbing and Heating Contractors (APHC) is the leading trade body for the plumbing and heating industry in England and Wales. We have been a plumbers association since 1925 and represent large plumbing and heating companies working on commercial projects, to sole traders working in domestic properties.
As part of its work, APHC operate a voluntary certification scheme for companies who wish to operate under Competent Persons Scheme (CPS) for building regulation self-certification and Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) for businesses installing low carbon heating technologies.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £11,000.00-£13,000.00 per year
