Correspondence Team Member - Customer Relations Team

Manchester (Salford Quays M50 3SP)

Salary from £23,500 plus excellent benefits

Permanent Contract - Full Time 37. 5 Hours per week (Monday-Friday)

Hybrid home and office working options available once signed off - This is not a fully remote working position.

What you'll be doing

As a correspondence team member, you will be responsible for handling subject access requests (SARs) and other correspondence. (Ensure these skills are outlined clearly on your application)

How you'll help us make health happen:

As part of this role you will:

  • Receive and process incoming SARs from customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Verify the identity and eligibility of the customers who request access to their personal data.
  • Retrieve and review the relevant data from various sources and systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Redact any sensitive or confidential information that is not relevant or appropriate to disclose.
  • Prepare and send the response to the customers.
  • Maintain records of all SARs and their outcomes and highlight any issues or trends.
  • Liaise with other departments and external parties as needed to fulfil the SARs.
  • Follow the company policies and procedures and comply with the data protection laws and regulations.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the SAR process and customer experience.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as attention to detail and accuracy.

You will also need to have strong customer service skills and the ability to empathise with customers and understand their needs.

You will be able to work independently and as part of a team and use your initiative to solve problems and improve processes.

You will need good IT skills and the ability to use various systems and applications.
