Role Overview:

Responsible for supporting the Food Beverage Marketing Lead and Group Director of Marketing with developing, positioning, evolving, and optimising Apex Hotels food and beverage propositions from a marketing perspective as well as creating and delivering marketing plans across different channels and segments aligned to the tactical objectives, strategies and overall vision for the restaurants and bars.

The Restaurant Bar Marketing Specialist will develop and sustain a culture of innovation and change within a fast paced and dynamic environment, challenging the status quo, identifying new opportunities, contributing to the FB agenda and planning process and delivering the best experience for the guests.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist with delivery of the annual FB revenue targets and achieve set KPI's
  • Support the FB Marketing Lead on delivery of the 1-3 year FB strategy working closely with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to execute activity that promotes innovation, delivers positive FB performance and is relevant to core target markets
  • Deliver yearly marketing plans and promotions that innovate, are ground in customer insight and are commercially and operationally viable to drive commercial performance and meet business targets and guest needs - monitoring, evolving and optimising these where necessary.
  • Understand inventory, price, distribution and effective routes to market supported by wider functional specialists within the Commercial function
  • Manage website listings along with associated promotional activity
  • Assist with the planning, concepting, and arranging photoshoots and attend photoshoots and events to assist with the curation of social media content
  • Coordinate all creative and digital briefs including design, email, social media and print production as well as writing copy when required.
  • Performance reporting including analysis, ROAS and ROI of individual campaigns and initiatives as well as reviewing and providing timely actionable insight on FB performance and initiatives to inform both the business and future FB activity

About you:

  • Recent and relevant results from a destination / experience led restaurant and bar business including target achievement, distribution and partnership expertise
  • 2+ years' experience in marketing, preferably in the hospitality industry, with social media and digital experience
  • A passion for food and drink and pragmatic about proactive marketing initiatives
  • An eye for detail and a passion for creating compelling social media content
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to build positive and open relationships with the ability to work in a team environment and with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong project management and change management skills with proven experience in managing multiple outlet sites and market segment.
  • A background in analysing and interpreting food and beverage data and insights to drive performance and transformation, able to identify areas for continuous improvement and to generate innovative solutions
  • Customer-driven and motivated by work that enhances the guest experience with a strong ability to build rapport
