This latest job opening is open to job seekers who have the latest education / graduate GCSE . Job Vacancies in this Radiology field have been opened and published up to the specified time.

Job Responsibility:

Applications are invited for the post of Medical Education Fellow for the London School of Radiology and Whittington Health NHS Trust. There are 2 short term LTFT appointments at ST2 and above to support Education projects in the London School of Radiology. This is an opportunity for doctors currently on London training programmes to spend up to a year out of programme working on projects supporting training in the London School of Radiology. We are looking to appoint two medical education fellows working 2 days a week each on projects, while continuing clinical training in their base scheme. The arrangement of such sessions will be organised on appointment with the post holder(s) and the Education Fellow supervisors who will be Dr Kate Hawtin (deputy HOS) and Dr Jane Young (previous HOS) Consultant Radiologist at the Whittington. The post is nominally hosted by the Whittington Hospital as one of the supervisors (Dr Young previous HOS the London School of Radiology) is a consultant at the Whittington Hospital and the funding is coming through this route. This will include working on evaluation of existing online teaching projects, and further development of online teaching, assessment and training resources in collaboration with other groups including the Oxford RAIQC (Radiology and Imaging Quality Control) platform, RCR and NHSE e - learning resources. The major projects will be expanding and developing resources and assessment for OOH work, (The ST1 pre - on call assessment - SPOCA) and working on the ST1 FRCR teaching resources, exploring the development of a curated set of content which is available to trainees across multiple training schemes. Support for the steering group for the RLL website and the review process of content. Collection of feedback on the projects. Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly used in Imaging and the identification of potential projects and AI educational resources for registrars. Work will be shared between the fellows and they will work collaboratively. Individual job plans of 2 days work - will be agreed with the supervisors in collaboration with the TPD of the successful candidates training scheme. Medical Education Fellows will be able to take up opportunities of leadership and education events organised within NHS England during their time in post. The Fellows will be accountable to their supervisors (Dr Hawtin and Dr Young) and link through them to the Head of London School of Radiology Dr Samantha Chippington Whittington Health serves a richly diverse population and works hard to ensure that all our services are fair and equally accessible to everyone. Nowhere is this more obvious than in the way we look after our staff. We aim to employ a workforce which is as representative as possible of this population, so we are open to the value of differences in age, disability, gender, marital status, pregnancy and maternity, race, sexual orientation, and religion or belief. The Trust believes that as a public sector organisation we have an obligation to have recruitment, training, promotion and other formal employment policies and procedures that are sensitive to these differences. We think that by doing so, we are better able to treat our patients as well as being a better place to work. There are no clinical sessions associated with these posts at the Whittington hospital. It is envisaged that the duties of the posts will be carried out via remote working. Clinical work will continue to be at the base hospital/ training scheme of the successful applicants. Please see the attached job description.
