Job Responsibility:

Based at Prestwick Park, near Newcastle Airport, Pele Trust is seeking a talented and dedicated Finance/Admin Assistant to join our Central Services team in supporting the financial operations of our group of schools. This temporary position is a maternity cover role, starting as soon as possible, with a competitive salary of £23,500 per annum.

Responsibilities: As a Finance/Admin Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing financial administrative support, contributing to the efficient and accurate management of school finances.

Working alongside the Trust Finance Manager you will be responsible for a range of routine financial tasks, including income collection and invoice processing, and general administrative tasks.

We believe in supporting the growth and development of our team members, and for the right candidate, this may become a permanent post depending on future business needs.

Work-life Balance: The successful candidate will work 37 hours a weeks and our usual office hours are between Monday to Friday 0830 - 1700. We understand the importance of work-life balance and might be able to consider hybrid working for the right candidate although the majority of the working week is likely to be in the office. This is a full time role.
