Our department is busy and sees a vast range of patient types; however, a dedicated and well-supported team provides an exciting work environment that can support all of your working goals and aspirations. We are proud to provide some of the most innovative and pioneering diagnostic pathways to exceed national targets which in turn are providing exemplary patient care. The department is open from 7am to 8pm Monday to Sunday. We provide a 24/7 emergency on-call service and participation will be required by default. We support CPD and also hold training for staff to cover both the technical and practical aspects of scanning. We look forward to your application and welcome informal visits and/or discussions. We do this by providing state-of-the-art equipment, and a variety of practical and theoretical resources, embracing team learning and ongoing, thorough service development. We have a tailored training programme that will support you in fulfilling the Band 6 role. You are expected to take an active part in the provision of the MR service at CUH and Community Diagnostic Centers whilst maintaining the highest standards of MR imaging and patient care at all times. Monday to Sunday shift pattern at CUH and Ely Community Diagnostic Centre. A welcome subsidy of £1000 is available to all Band 5 and Band 6 Nurses, Midwives, ODPs and Radiographers and Band 5 Orthoptists taking up substantive employment with the Trust.
