Job Responsibility:

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Universal Services team x1 Fulltime and x1 part time 26.25hrs per week. We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and passionate individual to join our team. The post-holder will provide administrative support within the Universal Services team, and be the first point of contact within our busy department. The role is essential to the smooth running of the 0-19 service at Child Health, as the team are responsible for the following: Processing New Births across Lambeth and Southwark Processing Newborn Bloodspots screening and creating client records Transferring client records in and out of our service to other NHS trusts Processing correspondence from a wide range of services such as GP's and Social Services Please Note: Vacancy may close early due to high numbers of applications The post holder must be IT literate and have the ability to navigate trust IT systems. The role requires the ability to liaise with a wide range of staff i.e. Clinicians, Nurses, and administrative colleagues, as well as third parties. The successful candidate will work well as part of a team, be professional and personable at all times, able to multi-task as well as being able to work under pressure. Candidates must be flexible to the needs of the service, attend meetings as and when necessary and have excellent communication skills. The Evelina London Community Services provides a comprehensive range of Universal and Specialist Services to children and Young Adults in Lambeth and Southwark. As well as health centres, we also provide services in schools, community buildings, in patients' homes, and occasionally in hospital. We work in partnership with GPs and other healthcare professionals, social workers, children's centre staff and voluntary agencies to support families. We also play a key role in safeguarding children and child protection. Main Responsibilities Act as the first point of call for a wide range of staff i.e. Clinicians, Nurses, and administrative colleagues, as well as third parties. Provide administrative support within the service, including cross cover for administrative team members as required, including deputising for the Team Lead for short periods of time. Provide advice and support to new or less experienced employees on own administrative duties. Maintain departmental databases in a timely and accurate manner. Assist with the distribution of data within the team as required. Undertake any other reasonable duties necessary to ensure the smooth running of the service. Keywords : London jobs
