Job Responsibility:

Cars 2 are looking for an experienced and professional individual to join their busy car dealership in Barnsley working either Full time or Part time (Monday-Friday) as a Workshop Administrator / Warranty Advisor. This role would suit someone with a strong administration background, who is very well organised and able to communicate to a high standard.

The Role:As Workshop Administrator/Warranty Advisor for Cars2, you will be reporting to the Service Manager and duties will include:

  • Supporting the workshop with administrative support, that assists with the customer experience.
  • Assisting with progressing warranty claims across the Barnsley dealerships.
  • Coordinating the accuracy of warranty claims across the Barnsley dealerships.
  • Working effectively within the Barnsley sites to ensure industry-leading standards of customer care and satisfaction at all times.
  • Ensure documentation for warranty for the Cars2 Barnsley dealership and re-call activity is completed and accurately stored in line with the Company procedure.
  • Invoice and cost all jobs, advise Line Managers of any variance to agreed levels and targets.
  • Ensure all customer data is sorted and handled securely in line with Company and legal requirements.
  • Monitor the quality of parts and/or materials used to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Skills Required:

  • A successful applicant will have excellent IT skills and at least 1 year's previous experience of administration.
  • Fast learner, as awareness of current business processes and ability to suggest improvements to increase efficiency and service.
  • Ability to meet all deadlines as set by the Line Manager and company procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to develop and maintain professional working relationships across the group and to contribute to the excellent levels of customer service provided by the Service team.
  • Ability to adhere to all health and safety procedures including wearing protective clothing, where appropriate.
  • Organised and ability to prioritise workload in a busy and pressured environment in order stay on top of all the administration that goes with the role It is essential that all paperwork is accurate so you will have a good eye for detail and a good working knowledge of current Warranty processes.
