Job Summary:We are currently seeking a dedicated Counter Staff member to join our team in providing excellent customer service and assisting in food preparation at our bustling restaurant.

Duties:- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting menu items- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently- Handle cash transactions and operate the till with precision- Prepare simple food items- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the counter area and dining space- Uphold food safety standards and regulations at all times- Utilise basic maths skills for cash handling and order processing- Assist in the kitchen with food preparation tasks if needed- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience- Manage time effectively to meet customer demands promptly

Qualifications:- Previous experience in a similar role within the culinary or restaurant industry is advantageous- Proficient in basic maths for handling transactions accurately- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively- Capability to assist in kitchen tasks during busy periods
