We are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable Specialist neurodevelopmental nurses on a permanent and fixed term basis to join our caring and progressive team in Gravesend. You will work as part of a close-knit team who are dedicated to the health and wellbeing of people in Gravesend. Gravesend is made up of a diverse patient group with complex needs. To facilitate the assessment and management of children and young people referred for assessment: ensuring the quality of care provision using Trust policies and guidelines and care pathways. To support diagnostic assessments undertaken by medical staff To assess for clinical prioritisation and create robust plans of care To regularly evaluate the service provided for children/young people whose lives are affected by neuro-developmental disorders, advising of changes to the delivery of care if they are needed. To provide support, education and advice to children with neuro-developmental disorders and their families, carers, health and education and other agencies, CAMHS, Social Services and other professionals. To provide and integrated service working closely with the paediatricians and other neuro-developmental nurses and liaising with CAMHS in selected cases. To improve an understanding knowledge and management neurodevelopmental conditions.
