IT Performance Manager

Our trusted partner, a FSTE 100 corporation that is a household name is currently hiring a IT Performance Manager to ensure definition/management of performance metrics, processes, SLA's and 3rd party suppliers as our client continues on their digital transformation journey. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding data, data modelling and data collection in order to drive decision making / present to senior leadership teams on performance across the our clients complex modern IT estate. Our client is paying a basic salary of £99,000 + 30% bonus with exceptional benefits to be based near Luton on a hybrid basis.

To be successful you must have demonstrable expertise in performance management, monitoring & reporting and IT stakeholder/financial/supplier management capabilities preferably within an retail / eCommerce / supply chain industry domain.

Core responsibilities: The IT Performance Management Lead ensures the definition and management of value and performance metrics, establishes processes, and executes measurement strategies that align with our clients strategic objectives. This role creates a culture of continuous improvement through insights, data-driven decision making. The role collaborates among the IT teams to ensure resources are optimised to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.

    Defining a value and performance management framework, in collaboration with IT Leadership team peers.

    Defining and executing a set of value and performance management processes (metrics/key indicators base lining, measuring, bench marking, analysing, reporting) consistently applied across I&O Platforms, Workplace Products, Supplier Management and Orchestration.

    Setting up and maintaining a management and continuous improvement system to collect, track and optimise key indicators/ metrics and dashboards, data analytical models, best practices, and lessons learned.

    Communicating the value and performance management framework and processes to relevant stakeholders, including suppliers.

    Integrating supplier performance metrics into value and performance management system, leveraging external best practices and considering supplier recommendations.

Core skills required:

    Several years of experience within an IT department with portfolio management related tasks preferably within the retail, eCommerce, Supply Chain sectors is a must have

    Experience the context of IT value and performance management frameworks, indicators, and supplier service level agreement is a must have

    The ability to work alongside key vendors, monitoring service and performance is a must have

    Proven stakeholder needs' analysis and stakeholder communication and management skills is a must have

    Data-savvy, strong data analysis capabilities (Power BI would be great)!

    Strong understand of the AGILE methodology within an enterprise corporation is a must have

    Exposure to Service-Now, Jira, Data bricks related performance management project is a nice to have.
