Job Responsibility:

The position is for a permanent full time Garden maintenance team member.

It would suit someone with a genuine passion for horticulture and desire to increase there knowledge.

Candidates would have garden maintenance / horticulture experience either professionally or as a keen amateur wishing for a change in career. Ideally will have some plant knowledge and identification skills.

You will ideally have a keen interest in horticulture and a qualification would be an advantage although training will be provided, good knowledge of garden machinery would also be advantageous.

Applicants must have good customer service skills, the ability to work well in a team or individually and liaise with clients professionally and effectively. Candidates are expected to have a proactive and positive approach to their work, be reliable, punctual, physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions.

Our gardeners represent the company and are expected to present themselves professionally at all times.

This position for a well established company, offers a good rate of pay and career progression through training for the right applicant depending upon experience and qualifications.

We maintain a wide range of high quality private gardens from small town gardens to well over an acre in size. We also have commercial customers including care homes, sports clubs, property managers and local churches. Our work is gained through our reputation and word of mouth. We provide everything from lawn care programs and regular maintenance to planting plans and garden design.

We have a year round maintenance schedule.

We rarely travel far from SM2.

Typical working hours are 08:00 to 16.30 Monday to Friday.
