As part of Customer Fulfilment, the function of Unit Fulfilment will contribute to this objective by: Taking a lead and overall responsibility for operational excellence, performance, and development of fulfilment units within the market. Striving for high performance at lowest possible cost and long-term profitability acting in a responsible way and thereby create great customer experience. Secure development and well-being environment for our many co-workers in Unit Fulfilment. Enabling preconditions, securing availability and efficient execution of the replenishment process and the customer order fulfilment processes in the fulfilment unit. Continuous improvement and securing fulfilment of products through all sales channels with great lead times, availability and quality at the lowest possible costs that enable an affordable price and profitability. WHY YOU: Take direct responsibility for a customer-centric and high-performing Store and/or Customer Distribution Operations in the assigned unit. Create the right prerequisites in the unit/organisation to enable growth and secure that the Customer Fulfilment agenda can be translated into the unit organisation.
- Lead, steer, plan, support and follow up the operations and the development of the organization within the unit.
- Accountable for a strong collaboration and cocreation with counterparts on both market and group level.
- Accountable for a sustained business financial success of the unit/site within the unit.
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
- 4-6 years working experience in a management position (preferable in distribution, retail, logistics or similar).
- Proven successful strategic leadership in a big organisation, delivering both business result and people development.
- Retail/home furnishing/supply chain/customer service experience and interest.
- Experience of leading a management team with proven ability to make a difference by positively influencing the business directly as well as through good leadership and collaboration.
- Knowledge of labour laws and third-party relations (unions, external service providers etc.)
- Experience in securing the implementation of mid-term and long-term strategies and plans and set/follow up goals.
- Analytical skills to understand budget, cost and key performance measurements used to plan, follow up and steer the business and proven record of meeting agreed budgets and goals.
- Good coaching and/or mentor, advisory and facilitation skills, conflict management skills and problem-solving experience.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY:
- Accountable for leading, coaching, developing, and inspiring a high performing Fulfilment Unit organisation and Unit Management Team, including communication, flexibility, performance culture, competence development, succession planning, maintaining a work environment which supports equality, diversity and inclusion and well-being.
- Secure a high customer and co-worker satisfaction at lowest possible cost in an omnichannel scope for good availability, sustainability and customer order fulfilment, by actively working with Happy Customer Score, IKEA Brand Capital, I Share survey and Review results.
- Accountable for securing excellence in Fulfilment Unit operations with focus on retail foundation, services execution, quality, and productivity improvements as well as cost optimization, in line with Country Customer Fulfilment Business Plan and Commercial Direction.
- Accountable to create a safe and secure working environment and securing compliance to the relevant Standard Operating Procedures through implementation of new operational processes, technologies, and ways of working.
- Secure that the unit is integrated part of the country and market commercial and growth agenda.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: This position is full time, you will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
