Here at XPO Logistics, a brilliant opportunity has arisen for IT Procurement Administrator to join our existing team in Crick within our IT department, on a 6 month fixed term basis.

Working Monday to Friday 09:00-14:00. The role will involve a wide range of administrative tasks supporting the IT department.

We're looking to offer a competitive salary, £32,000 per annum pro rata for 22.5 hours per week. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday pro rata'd (plus bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Support IT Admin and Asset Manager with IT PMO, Procurement, Asset, Audit and Admin function
  • Ensuring timely provision of IT equipment for end users and for implementation of projects
  • Producing purchase orders for suppliers as required, ensuring Procurement processes adhered to.
  • Deal with IT Procurement queries
  • Deal with payment queries.
  • Track receipt and spend against Pos expected and raised.
  • Resolve cases and tasks from Service Now in a timely fashion.
  • Assessing situations, issues and opportunities and escalating these when appropriate
  • Ensuring best practice and continual improvement.
  • Identifying opportunities for improving service operations processes to drive cost and process efficiencies.
  • Supporting operational priorities and assisting other teams, such as EUC and Implementation, across the department where required

What you need to succeed at XPO:

  • Essential: 2-3 years purchasing/procurement administration experience
  • Essential: Excellent communicator with the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical staff at all levels within the business respectfully and with assurance.
  • Essential: experience of working with users - customers, internal team and 3rd party suppliers.
  • Essential: Intermediate excel skills (SUM IFS, V look ups, H look ups and pivot tables)
  • Essential: The ability to pick up different systems & portals.
  • Desirable: The ability to understand and translate users / customers business requirements into IT deliverables.
  • Desirable: Team working within IT, the wider company, customers and 3rd party suppliers.
