The Restaurant Manager cares for, supports and develops their team and is the conductor during service. They are welcoming, decisive and gracious hosts. We're looking for natural leaders who are ambitious, love waiting tables, have pride in their work, and care for their team - like we do. Leadership can be tough; we have high expectations and you're responsible for your whole team and our guests. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for all aspects of the restaurant operations. You will coach and direct all parts of the staff training and always ensure your team executes Sushi Revolution quality standards and procedures. You will motivate and lead your team to provide an efficient service, keep a clean and safe restaurant and create a great atmosphere for our guests. We won't set you up to fail, we will support you in your success and give you the trust and autonomy to make decisions and manage your team Your Responsibilities, Skills and Behaviours:

Be Honest

  • Ensure daily due diligence is completed on trail
  • Complete all daily trail check lists
  • Complete all opening and closing procedures in the FOH
  • Maintain par stock levels of inventory and prep in the bar
  • Maintain correct portion control to Sushi Revolution standards
  • Keep wastage to a minimum
  • Always follow recipe standard operating procedures
  • Ensure staff follow rules and regulations on self-Inspection programs
  • Ensure your team complete all flow training courses
  • Set up all sections to Sushi Revolution specifications
  • Be punctual and ensure your team are too

Be Determined

  • Be a leader and lead by example
  • Always maintain equipment and company property, report any defective materials or equipment to the ops team
  • Ensure proper staffing and adequate supplies for all stations
  • Identify strong and weak members of your team and coach to high performance
  • Meet daily sales targets
  • Find problems and fix them
  • Ensure proper safety, hygiene and cleaning practises are followed
  • Knowledge and ability to run the restaurant leading by example
  • Always maintain safe working conditions at all time
  • Be ready to tackle guest complaints and solve problems
  • Try to beat weekly sales projections
  • Take responsibility for the business performance of your restaurant
  • Be ready for anything, be ready to fight the revolution every day

  • Manage the budget and your P&L
  • Control FOH Invoices and inventory
  • Ensure sections are not closed before the restaurant is closed
  • Complete required stock takes
  • Have a high level of Integrity and handle Information with confidentiality
  • Provide our guests with a high-quality experience to Sushi Revolution standards
  • Always maintain a safe and clean restaurant
  • Complete, approve and publish the rotas at least 2 weeks in advance managing FOH and BOH payroll cost and staff wellness
  • Be trustworthy, reliable and dependable
  • Ensure all deliveries are received, checked and put away correctly
  • Be well organised and able to prioritise
  • Look after restaurant keys and distribute to staff accordingly
  • Ensure the restaurant is locked at night and the alarm set
  • Comply with all licensing laws and regulations
