We are looking to appoint a Customer Advisor for the front of house services team within our Heritage sites in Medway. If you have a keen interest in history, in Medway and the wider tourism industry and like meeting and communicating with people, this is definitely the role for you. You will have a vision for excellence in customer care, be able to work as part of a team; have good IT skills and excellent communication skills (both oral and written). You will be part of a team who work on a shift rota covering face to face, telephone and email contact during the daytime Monday to Sunday, with occasional evening opportunities. In the role of Customer Advisor, you will ensure the best levels of service are achieved for our customers through offering a friendly welcome to our attractions and helping our customers by serving them at the till, within the retail shop or just by answering their queries. We are looking for someone who is highly organised, approachable, and flexible and displays excellent communication and administration skills with experience of serving customers in a face-to-face environment. You will be proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a wider team.
