Job Purpose
- Collation and management of cash forecasting (short, medium and long term) for the entities in role scope.
- Analysis and rationalisation of cash actuals after month end close and variance analysis as requested.
- Fulfill reporting requirements, including financial period close activities, analysis and reconciliations.
- Oversea and provide support to the Treasury Assistants for the daily cash and banking operations, ensuring all assigned companies immediate financial obligations are met.
- Collaborate with external and internal auditors, and support SOX testing.
- Support ongoing Treasury transformation activities.
- Provide cover for ad hoc tasks within Treasury Department as required.
Job Description
- Manage the cash forecasting tasks for entities within scope to meet company expectations and guidelines, incorporating adaptations as required. Data is multi-currency for immediate, short and long-term forecasts.
- Consolidate data and perform variance analysis for local entities with information received from internal departments.
- Perform monthly tasks including: ‘actuals' analysis on cashflows and update forecasts, update hedging effectiveness files with foreign currency cashflows, project bank balance reallocation in Geos (Oracle) and bank analysis of currency used in prior month.
- Be key support for Treasury team members in EME region for Kyriba including the creation of desk top procedures.
- Collaborate with external and internal auditors, take part in periodical SOX walkthroughs, internal control reviews and SOX testing.
- Provide support for other operational areas of the Treasury team, overseeing daily cash and banking operations, including payment release, verification process and month end reconciliations.
- Support Treasury transformation activity and be actively involved in reviewing current practices for evolution to the future state.
You are meant for this job if: Must have:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably working in Finance or Treasury with good understanding of multi-currency cash forecasting and management.
- Proven ability to manage workload and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal.
- Competent Microsoft Excel user.
Nice to have:
- Experience in the oil and gas industry or related services company.
- Experience in financial analysis.
- Operational system experience in Kyriba and Oracle.

Qualifications: Professional/Technical/Academic
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, ideally in business, finance or accounting.
Experience/Skill/Knowledge
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably experience from an international organization.
- Sound understanding of cash forecasting, management and foreign currency.
- SOX compliance and strong understanding of internal controls.
Technical/General/Competencies
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel).
- Experience with ERP and TMS systems (Oracle and Kyriba an advantage).
- Excellent English communication skills.
