The team

The Product Analyst - HR & Payroll, will be part of a small team, supported by 3rd party resources and in collaboration with the Business GPO to deliver the day to day service for both the Oracle Fusion Payroll and appropriate legacy services. As Product Analyst you will be responsible for managing, supporting and improving the service delivered to the business, with active participation in the prioritisation and impact assessment of change in partnership with the business and outsource provider.

Become a significant part of a team that is fully versed in the new SAAS and legacy systems used by ITV, that operates under a process driven support and development operating model, that focuses on prioritised task driven day to day operations, working seamlessly with all 3rd party bodies and creating value added relationships across ITV.

The role

  • As part of a team of 2nd line support Product Analysts you will provide day to day support, guidance, development and innovation on technical business matters for all applications and integrations in your specialist area, ensuring the user community has the best practice processes and key functional opportunities available to them.
  • Work with business and 3rd party support agents in a seamless “1 team” philosophy.
  • Support the Service Lead in managing vendor relationships
  • Escalate and raise tickets with other bodies to ensure all support requests are dealt with by the right team.
  • Managing third line support tickets with the outsource provider.
  • Responsible for working with the business to ensure that Application Guided Learning remains up to date as the platform evolves.
  • For each of the supported services you would be responsible for incident trends and problem analysis.
  • Facilitate security, common risk and audit support for all applications in scope of the specific role.
  • Provide application management for a set of legacy services already embedded in the ITV businesses.
  • Supporting the Release cycle to impact assess and prioritise new functionality
  • Create and update comprehensive documentation and CMDB records.
  • With regard specifically to Oracle Fusion:
  • As a Product Analyst you will be expected to keep up to date with new functionality within the Oracle Fusion Payroll application, proactively recommending and implementing business improvements through the use of these best-practice techniques.
  • Participate in planning and execution of quarterly and intervening ERP update activities; reviewing Oracle readiness documents for functionality changes and managing test plans including stakeholders both within GT and the Business community.
  • Support the business in end user training by providing product guidance and environments.

Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)

  • Experience as a resource in the implementation lifecycle of at least 1 Oracle ERP Cloud project and Supporting Oracle Cloud
  • Strong functional knowledge around financial, HR, Production Finance or Corporate systems and processes
  • Good understanding of application security and be well versed in role based access protocols
  • Knowledge and experience of the methods and complexities of system integrations
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering continuous improvement and change to services.
  • Experience in delivering services utilising agile ways of working e.g product backlog and ceremonies.

  • Participate in rigorous continuous self-learning, as well as supporting others to develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours.
  • For Oracle Fusion specifically, we are looking for someone with hands-on administrative experience in the Oracle Payroll product.
  • Experience in non-cloud based services configuration and administration.
  • Supporting an Oracle Payroll environment for a large organisation with international reach.
    • Supporting one or more of the products below:
    • Oracle Fusion Payroll
    • Oracle Fusion HCM
    • Other payrolls such as Zellis, iTrent, ADP
    • Other HCM, Absence Management or Rostering applications
  • Experience working as part of a team supporting multiple applications.
  • Experience of working with an offshore outsourced service provider.
  • Good understanding of Cloud architectures e.g Oracle Fusion.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL ITSM processes.
  • Understanding of cloud-based SaaS and PaaS market offerings, on premise / legacy system offerings, as well as a general understanding of application based infrastructure environments in both SAAS and on premise.
  • Knowledge and experience of the methods and complexities of system integrations.
  • Good knowledge of Oracle Support processes, release cycles and customer networks.
  • Experience of executing application testing, and preparing deliverables such as design documents, test documentation, training materials and administration/procedural guides.
  • Experience of gathering business requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and SLAs, and implementing robust and scalable solutions.
  • Working as part of a team focussed on Process, CSI, Innovation and user focussed delivery of first class support.
  • Creating and maintaining system documentation, both functional and technical.
