We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to join Dorset HealthCare NHS University Trust as a Senior Finance Accounts Manager. The successful candidate will be a part qualified accountant, with excellent IT skills, good negotiation and communication skills. The ideal candidate will need to have good analytical skills, experience of control accounts and ideally experience of preparing the year end statutory accounts. We are looking for a proactive individual to develop excellent working practices within the team, to be able to work to tight deadlines and to be adaptable to undertake work across the team as required. You will be based at Sentinel House in Poole with free on-site parking and a work pattern that is flexible with a mix of office and home working. Yu are expected to be n the office for 2 days a week. If you are looking for an exciting new challenge working with a professional dynamic friendly team where you can make a real difference this is a fantastic opportunity Main duties of the job entails: assisting the Head of Financial Services and Capital Finance Business Partner. operating proactively to investigate, report and improve upon financial performance. ensuring that appropriate financial controls are in place and maintained to deliver the financial duties and objectives of the Trust. ensuring that the Regulators requirements e.g. annual accounts, monthly returns and other ad hoc returns are met. managing the following teams/areas: Creditor Payments, Sales Ledger, Cash flow and VAT. assisting with Treasury management At Dorset HealthCare we're on a mission to empower people to make the most of their lives through our outstanding, joined-up healthcare services.
