About the role

AXA Global Healthcare have an exciting new opportunity as a Corporate and Strategic Partnership Lead, where the primary objective is to help the IPMI Division achieve its growth targets by creating strategic partnerships and finding opportunities for growth, efficiency, and collaboration within AGH and the broader IPMI division.

You'll be leading on the evaluation and onboarding of new insurer relationships and strategic partnerships and supporting the Head of Corporate Development in strategic group-led projects and transversal initiatives.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead on the identification and evaluation of partnerships between AGH, insurers, MGAs/MGUs and reinsurers (internal and external to AXA) using metrics aligned to strategic objectives and business requirements.
  • Structure (operating model, legal set up) and negotiate commercial arrangements and underlying contracts.
  • Coordinate the contribution of internal experts to understand business impact and solution design.
  • Take accountability for management of project issues and risks identified.
  • Lead the implementation project phase of new partnerships and take accountability for ensuring RTB processes are in place.
  • Support transversal initiatives across the IPMI division.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the approach, processes and control within the Corporate Development team.
  • Support on AXA group-led strategic projects.
  • Identify opportunities for growth, improvement and synergies across the IPMI division and AXA and present and drive those opportunities forwards.
  • Act as a catalyst for business change globally, ensuring existing practices are challenged and alternative solutions are evaluated and adopted to maximise business benefit.

About you

What we're looking for:

  • Business and commercial acumen, including ability to build and substantiate a business case.
  • Proven ability to analyse and negotiate contract and commercial terms on behalf of company and partners.
  • Understanding of business risk and experience in dealing with identifying and managing business risk.
  • Experience of effectively managing the implementation of strategic partnerships.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in international medical insurance and/or reinsurance partnerships.
  • Experience of leading the design and implementation of new strategies.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to understand the impact of change including ideally project management qualifications.
  • Self-directed, motivated, and proactive, exhibiting a high level of initiative.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience of leading the integration of different business models commercially and operationally.
