Job Responsibility:

This is a hybrid role once training is complete with 2, maybe 3 days per week in the office in Leeds.

Purpose of the Role

This exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing Client Money Team within our Broker Network business, part of the wider Ardonagh Group. You will be responsible for the accurate reconciliation of our Members' Insurer accounts to their broking systems in accordance with FCA regulations and agreed service level agreements.

What you will do

This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your line manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following:

  • Reconciliation of Insurer Settlements for allocated members in accordance with FCA regulations, Insurer requirements and internal procedures.
  • Management of own workload to ensure work is being completed to the agreed Service Levels (SLAs) and quality standards.
  • Communicate and build relations with external Brokers & businesses to investigate and resolve any queried transactions, resolving these effectively and providing great customer service.
  • Fulfil your responsibilities in line with agreed processes to achieve agreed objectives, and in doing so, ensure compliance with the client and insurer money rules within the FCA Handbook, identifying and recording any breaches of FCA rules.
  • Ensure successful completion of training and assessment exercises as assigned from the Compliance and Training Department.
  • Willingness and ability to apply existing skills to other ad-hoc tasks, as required by management.

Experience within an FCA regulated role and an understanding of Insurance Broking systems would be advantageous. However, full training will be given so if you're detail focused and a quick learner with a passion for accuracy, this could be a great opportunity for you.
