The Focus of the Role: We are looking for a Senior Commercial Content Writer to join our content commerce team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating and curating ideas and content, focusing on reaching targets for reach and commerce content for Grazia. You will be an expert and ambassador in cutting-edge website practices, effectively communicating with SEO teams and developers, and translating this for a non-technical team of writers. You'll work closely with the Deputy Content Commerce Editor to deliver daily web content and assist the team in their absence. Growing the content commerce business across fashion and beauty is crucial. You will stay updated on the latest fashion and beauty trends, know how to spot a trending product story and find new angles to generate affiliate revenue. Key Responsibilities:
  • Using your journalistic and industry experience, you will support the Deputy Editor with ideas generation, as well as optimising high-quality and helpful fashion and beauty content that precisely meets the needs of the Grazia audience
  • Researching, planning and writing comprehensive product tests and buying guides according to editorial guidelines and in line with current SEO standards. This will include more complex and research-intensive topics and formats
  • Creating accompanying photographic material to provide our users with the best offers tailored to their needs
  • Customising content for various digital platforms, including email, considering the unique requirements and best practices for each
  • Develop high-quality working relationships with relevant editorial contacts and external partners, plus attending relevant press events/product launches.
  • Key support during peak trading events like Prime Day and Black Friday, and working in close collaboration with the wider editorial team, audience development and SEO management

  • Photography Skills: Some ability to create clear and well-presented photography to support articles and appear in content if needed.
  • Self-Motivation: Excellent time management, prioritisation, and organisational skills with a hands-on approach.
