Being an apprentice at News Broadcasting During your time with us you will earn above living wage, get full training, study towards a Sales Executive Level 4 qualification (with your course fees paid). You will also receive mentoring/coaching from the industry's best, as well as any other equity you might need to fulfil your full potential.
Your Role: As a Commercial Sales Apprentice at News Broadcasting, you will be an integral part of our dynamic sales team. This role is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the sales process within the media industry, from prospecting and client engagement to closing deals and maintaining long-term relationships. Working across industry leading brands, talkSPORT, Virgin Radio, Times Radio and TalkRadio.
Day to day you will:
- Assist the commercial sales team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Support the development and execution of sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
Maintain and update client databases and sales records.
Work on campaign delivery with clients and media agencies
Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and networking events.
Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
