Do you have the experience and skills to deliver a quality administration service to a portfolio of schools across our University? If so, then we want to hear from you.

We are recruiting to the Research Administration team who will support our research and knowledge exchange activities for our academic schools and our Centres of Research and Knowledge Exchange Excellence (COREs). You will be part of a team providing support to a portfolio of Schools and/or COREs from across the University. Activities will include: servicing meetings, budget monitoring and processing financial transactions and support for events and communications including web site, blogs and social media.

To be successful, you should have:

  • previous experience of working in an office environment
  • the ability to work as part of a team
  • experience of planning and prioritising a range of work activities, meeting sometimes conflicting work deadlines
  • good communication skills, and able to communicate complex procedures and information clearly

This post is advertised as full-time (37.0 hours per week), however we welcome applications form candidates seeking to job share.

This role is eligible for our agile working policy, meaning that you will be able to work a maximum of 50% of the time remotely (after an initial training period), however you will need attend the office on Wednesday.
