Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

We have several exciting opportunities for senior theatre practitioners to join in opening a brand-new hospital in London, Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew's Hospital. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and you will be able to developed clinical skills, act as a role model as well as manage complex patient care. You will support individuals and teams to deliver safe, high quality and effective patient care that is responsive to the needs of our patients. Along the way, you'll build strong relationships with consultants, hospital senior leaders, a wide range of healthcare professionals and, of course, patients.

Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council or HCPC, your specialist training should include a minimum of ILS. You will have experience of managing a variety of procedures. A minimum of 3 years' experience working in a theatre setting is essential. You'll be accountable for motivating and educating your peers within the multidisciplinary team.

We've opened the doors to Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew's Hospital: The City of London's only independent hospital, situated next to St Bartholomew's NHS hospital. This is our flagship center for cardiac services and will also provide a full range of surgical and medical services, including: orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, genecology and urology services.

Our hospital consists of 55 beds, including 7 Specialist intensive care beds, four of the most advanced digital operating theatres and Endoscopy and minor ops theatre. With 28 consultation rooms. Cardiac catheterisation lab, Oncology Day unit and full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography and general X-ray.

Overtime

For clinical roles grade 9 and below, the overtime is at a standard rate of pay. For unsocial hours, you'll be paid an additional enhancement to your salary at the following rates: Nights Hours worked between 7pm and 7am on any day of the week, 30% of basic hourly rate. Weekends Hours worked between 7am and 7pm on a Saturday or Sunday, 20% of basic hourly rate. Bank Holidays Hours worked between midnight and midnight of a bank holiday, 100% of basic hourly rate.
