About the Role: As an Events and Sales Assistant, you will be at the forefront of our campaigns, representing our clients at events across Manchester and the surrounding areas. Your role will involve setting up events, engaging with the public, and driving sales by promoting our clients' initiatives. You'll have the opportunity to develop your communication and sales skills while making a tangible impact on important charitable causes. Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Execution: Support the setup, operation, and breakdown of events and promotions, ensuring everything runs smoothly and effectively.
  • Sales Promotion: Actively engage with event attendees, explaining our clients' missions and encouraging support through product sales and donations.
  • Face-to-Face Interaction: Build strong connections with the public, providing information and answering questions to create a positive experience.
  • Customer Engagement: Utilize persuasive communication skills to influence customer decisions and maximize sales outcomes at events.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside other team members to meet sales goals, share strategies, and create a cohesive and supportive work environment.
  • Feedback and Reporting: Collect customer feedback and provide insights to improve future events and sales strategies.
  • Training Participation: Engage in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and refine sales techniques, ensuring you stay effective and confident in your role.
Requirements:
  • Full and unrestricted right to work in the UK. We cannot consider Tier 4 or PSW visas, unfortunately.
  • Must not have applied to any of our openings in the past 30 days.
  • Previous experience in sales, events, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to connect and engage with people from all backgrounds.
  • A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to work full-time, including some weekends or evenings, as required by events.
