Job Responsibility:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Clinical Psychologist to join the Children's Psychology team at Poole Hospital . Our small psychology team work closely with our paediatric consultants , nurses and other allied health professionals to support both outpatients and admission s The successful candidate will be an integral member of t he diabetes and oncology teams to help assess and support the emotional well-being of the children and their families/carers. Clinical supervision will be provided and the post holder will be fully supported if the post is taken as a preceptorship role. This opportunity is suited to someone who is creative and innovative and can demonstrate excellent clinical, communication skills whilst demonstrating compassion and flexibility within this busy service. Interview Date: TBC Base Location : Poole Hospital To provide a specialist direct clinical service to young people and families in the paediatric oncology and diabetes service To provide a specialist indirect clinical service through consultation, supervision, teaching and training, for colleagues within the paediatric diabetes and oncology teams To undertake appropriate research, audit and evaluation.
