Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and assisting with food preparation when necessary.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
• Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted.
• Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for billing purposes.
• Engage with guests to provide exceptional service, addressing any inquiries or requests promptly.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour are essential for effective guest interaction.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A keen interest in culinary arts and the restaurant industry will be beneficial for this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temp to perm

Pay: £12.21-£17.76 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
