Position OverviewWe have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Communications Administrator to join our team in Leith, Edinburgh. The role will be a full-time, permanent position, and we are ideally looking for an immediate start.

Georgian Antiques is based at 10 Pattison Street, Leith Links, Edinburgh, EH6 7HF, with a distinguished reputation in the antiques industry. We operate a 50,000sq ft warehouse, and specialise in fine antique furniture. We offer one of the largest selections of antiques in the United Kingdom, and are the go-to for interior designers, trade, television & film, and the general public.

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Digital Communications Administrator to manage the company’s digital platforms. Your responsibilities will also include handling customer enquiries, processing orders, and arranging UK and international shipments. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and meticulous individual, with experience in website management, eCommerce management, and marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

Website & Inventory Management

  • Creating and managing content for company WordPress website
  • Overseeing additional eCommcere platforms and quality checking online inventory
  • Actively improving SEO, and using Google Analytics and sales data to identify areas for improvement

Marketing & Social Media Management

  • Content creation and management of social media platforms
  • Creating regular newsletter campaigns

Customer Enquiries & Orders

  • Handling online and in-house enquiries
  • Processing orders

Delivery Logistics

  • Arranging local, UK, and international Shipments

Requirements

  • Experience in managing websites, social media platforms, and newsletter campaigns beneficial
  • Familiarity with inventory systems and retail best practices
  • Good understanding of Adobe Express, Photoshop, Lightroom, Bridge, or similar programs
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
