Job Responsibility:

We are a friendly, high achieving, 6 Partner GP Training Practice looking to recruit a temporary part-time receptionist covering maternity leave, to work at our new surgery in the centre of Emsworth.

Our busy Reception Team are usually the first point of contact for our patients and play a key role in making us a successful Practice and a great place to work.

Dealing with phone calls and face to face contacts, you will manage our appointment system and sign-post patients to the correct service. You will use your IT skills to carry out system searches and fulfil prescription requests, including managing e-consultations.

We are looking for a team player with a proven track record in reception / customer service skills, ideally in a medical setting, who can demonstrate empathy in dealing with patients, healthcare professionals and colleagues.

You will need to be self-motivated, reliable and flexible.

We are looking for someone who can work 20 hours per week as follows:

Monday 1.00pm to 6.00pm, Wednesday and Thursday 8.00am to 1.00pm and Friday 1.00pm to 6.00pm.

Job Type: Part-time

Expected hours: 20 per week
