Sir Harry Smith Community College is a mixed academy secondary school and Sixth Form for students aged 11-18.
The school was opened in 1953 on the site of Whittlesey Workhouse and is named after the Army General Sir Harry Smith who was born nearby. The school converted to academy status in 2012 and is part of the Aspire Learning Trust along with local primary schools, Park Lane and New Road.

Students are proud of their school and behave with respect and consideration towards each other. Relationships between staff and students are positive.
Behaviour is good and students feel safe in school. The gap between the achievement of disadvantaged students and that of other students in the school is decreasing rapidly.
