The Role: Digital Workplace Services (DWS) manages all of our end-point devices, software and application delivery platforms and software management solution. In our modern and highly resilient environment, we provide the software, hardware and operating system platforms on which the University heavily depends on. As a Principal Desktop Specialist, you will be responsible for the development and management of our Microsoft 365 environment (inc. Azure, Active Directory, Intune, Autopilot, OneDrive). As part of this role, you will be expected to keep up with current industry trends and lead strategic initiatives that improve the digital user experience and support the University's strategy. This appointment is a fixed-term contract until 12 April 2026. For internal candidates it may be possible to apply for this role under the Secondment Policy .
