Job Responsibility:

We are working with a premier Facilities Management (FM) provider to find an Energy & Environmental Lead to join a major corporate banking account, at their Headquarters in Bishopsgate
This is their flagship UK site, complex and critical, accommodating senior client stakeholder, and is the centrepiece of their Net Zero journey.
We're looking for someone who can:
- Lead external and internal ISO 14001/50001 surveillance and recertification audits in UK
- Assist in the transformation into a net-zero carbon emissions corporation as well as expanding our renewable energy portfolio in the region
- Partner with UK facilities management teams to ensure environmental legal and regulatory compliance
- Support facilities management teams with core EMS documentation and deliverables, quarterly updating templates, providing guidance, ensuring timely completion
- Collaborate across business functions and build relationships with partners across GCS
- Support project management tasks
- Review, validate and analyse environmental performance data for UK
- Manage stakeholders, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and deliverables
- Communicate team accomplishments internally across a variety of platforms and formats, producing an assortment of reports and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Lead UK awareness, engagement, and communication efforts, bringing our story to end users across the region, and supporting local events
Your team
You'll be working in the In-House Environmental Management team, part of Group Real Estate and Supply Chain, based in London. We run a globally-certified Environmental Management System (EMS) in EMEA that complies with the international standards ISO 14001/50001, helping to reduce our firm's environmental impact and footprint in all operations.
Your expertise
- Extremely well-organized and detail-oriented; ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Technical expertise in environmental engineering and data reporting
- General understanding of renewable energy technologies and industry
- Skillful relationship builder - you bring people together with ease
- Adept project manager, with the ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects
- Strong communicator, from making presentations to technical writing; excellent verbal and written communication skills essential; you are fluent in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word applications
- Flexible, resilient team player with positive attitude; known for can-do approach to tackling daily tasks
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; background in environmental management systems or environmental legal and regulatory compliance preferred, minimum 2 years' experience;
- Previous experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 audits is a must
- Member of professional body i.e. IEMA is a plus
- Up to 70k salary plus private healthcare policy
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £65,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
