Job Responsibility:

Sewcialising is a fabric shop and sewing studio in the heart of York city centre. We sell beautiful fabrics, haberdashery, sewing gifts and yarns & host fun sewing and craft workshops.

We are looking for a creative person to join our lovely team to host dressmaking and/or craft workshops. The ideal candidate will be flexible and be available on a freelance basis having availability for day time, evening and/or weekend workshops.

We are looking for a special someone who is very creative, who can sew, knit or crochet and who generally loves crafting. This person may have a degree or sewing qualification in fashion or textiles, or perhaps has many years experience as a dressmaker and/or quilter. Ideally this person will have some customer service experience and/or have the confidence to host dressmaking and/or crafting workshops in our lovely sewing studio in York city centre or at our studio in Clifton Moor.

We're looking for someone with positive energy who is confident, takes initiatives and is able to work independently. Any experience with social media, websites & video would also be hugely beneficial but is not essential for this role.
