Company Overview
KidsAid Foundation is dedicated to supporting children and young people who have experienced traumatic events. Through various therapeutic approaches, including Play, Art, Music, and Drama Therapy, we aim to provide early intervention that fosters resilience and promotes emotional well-being.
We are currently recruiting student therapists to join us to support children and young people within Northamptonshire to access therapeutic support.
We offer:- In-house individual, group and peer supervision- Client toolkit allowance- Mileage allowance- Dedicated student support staff- School and therapy room based opportunities.
Expectations of the student would be:- to abide by professional ethical standards- to either have or be willing to get an enhanced DBS- to either have or be willing to attend safeguarding training Level 3- to have a suitable clinical foundation that would allow for independent therapeutic work.- to manage your own client workload - up to 3 clients at a time, with support when necessary.- to be willing to commit to long-term work (min. 12 sessions, average around 20-25 sessions).
Person requirements
We require at least a level 4 in counselling practise.
