Summary
We are looking for a Apprentice Play Worker to join our dynamic team at Premier Education. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating engaging play activities that promote physical development and social skills among primary school children. Your contribution will be vital in creating a fun and safe environment where children can thrive. You will be completing your training with our online training provider Educationwise and will be allocated weekly hours towards completing this.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement play activities that encourage physical development and teamwork.
- Supervise children during playtime to ensure safety and enjoyment.
- Communicate effectively with children to foster a positive play environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate play into the school curriculum.
- Provide support and guidance to children during activities, promoting inclusivity.
- Maintain a clean and organized play area, ensuring all equipment is safe and functional.
Requirements
- Experience in early childhood education or childcare is essential.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children.
- Ability to manage groups of children in a playful yet structured manner.
- Leadership qualities to inspire and motivate young learners.
- A minimum level 2 in Early years or Education required.
