Overview

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a Door Sealing and Brightware specialist. The role involves working on various tasks related to door sealing and brightware to ensure high-quality finishes.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Leading the mechanical design and development of the systems from concept to SOP

Ensuring that the system meets the required functional requirements

Responsibility for the system specification, test and validation plan to achieve the cost, weight, timing, and quality targets against project milestones

Coordinating with all relevant functions/departments to deliver the system as per functional requirements

Responsibility for creation of technology roadmap(s) for the specific system, working closely with the client to understand the latest and future available technologies

Managing design resource and component/system suppliers to achieve the system requirements against the delivery timeline and milestones

Maintaining the Engineering System time plan, ensuring the system deliverables are on track, escalating issues where required

Presenting technical issues to the client and other stakeholders

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering

5+ years of experience in leading Door sealing and brightware development in the Automotive industry

Good understanding of product specifications and manufacturing processes of Door sealing and brightware

10+ years of experience in product development [end to end] in the Automotive industry

Good understanding of automotive product development process (involvement in at least two cycles of End-to-end product development in Automotive)

Excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to clearly communicate to internal/external customers and suppliers.

Full professional proficiency in English

Skilled in Catia V5

Job Types: Permanent, Fixed term contractContract length: 12 months

Pay: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
