About the job:

St Michael's Hospice has a dynamic and fast-paced Facilities Team, which includes Maintenance, Catering and Housekeeping. Each function supporting the wider Hospice environment with their specialist skills and wealth of experience. We are now looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Operations Safety Officer to support the Head of Department and the wider team. This new role will ensure you have no two days that are the same as you provide support to the wider organisation whether this be at the main Hospice or at one of our Retail outlets. The job will be split doing safety audit work and Risk Assessments to data inputting, scheduling servicing for our shops and liaising with the maintenance team to ensure all external work is completed in a timely manner.

Attention to detail and supportive of the team and wider organisation will be a major attribute in this fast paced, ever-changing environment. A person who can remain calm under pressure and prioritise workload effectively, someone who is keen to progress and learn new skills whilst always keeping abreast of all legislative changes within the safety environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,775.00-£32,814.00 per year
