Job Responsibility:
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and innovative Curriculum Leader to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and evaluating curriculum programmes that enhance student learning and engagement. This position requires a strong ability to communicate effectively and educate both staff and students on best practices in curriculum design within our special school.
As a Literacy curriculum lead you will lead flexibly across our special school, model and deliver excellence in the classroom and champion our inclusive ethos. We welcome all applications especially those with a strong knowledge of the primary and foundation learning curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of curriculum frameworks that align with educational standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with educators to design engaging learning materials and resources.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum programmes through data analysis and feedback from educators
- Stay abreast of current trends in education to inform curriculum development and instructional practices.
Experience
- Proven experience in an educational setting, with a focus on curriculum development or instructional leadership.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
- A passion for educating others and fostering a collaborative environment among staff and students.
- Experience within SEMH
