As our Misuse Technical Lead (Programme Support Engineer) focussing on behavioural change related to misuse across Water Recycling, you will be at the forefront of our mission to protect and restore our natural environment by supporting our misuse behavioural change programme. This role is not just about doing a job it has a real purpose; it's about contributing to a sustainable future. What will you be doing?
  • Lead and coordinate misuse investigation activity across a variety of locations in both a planned and reactive manner.
  • Support a culture of innovative, forward thinking, positive challenge and support throughout the team to reduce misuse events.
  • Provide expert support to field resources in techniques/equipment used for the investigation of sewerage systems and assets
  • Perform regular active management and performance management to ensure safe working practices and quality of service is being delivered within expected timeframes.
  • Support the communication of the programme by working with our comms team to deliver an effective customer behaviour change programme across our domestic and commercial customers
  • Utilise a range of systems to monitor, track and analyse performance of resource and the programme
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement in Health & Safety (H&S), ensuring consistent H&S standards are maintained
What does it take to be successful in this role?
  • Ability to coach and support your team with a focus on preventing & managing misuse events
  • Ability to lead when actively managing and/or supporting on our field teams on the ground
  • Understanding of the Water or Water Recycling processes
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerBi and Excel.
  • Ability to adapt communication style (both written and verbal) to suit a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrate customer service skills and ability to deal with customers in an empathetic and professional manner
  • Full UK driving licence
  • You must be able to work within a confined space, and at height without restrictions. Due to harness weight limits, your maximum weight cannot be in excess of 113 kilograms and you will be expected to complete relevant occupational health checks
