Job Responsibility:

To provide nursing assistance and technical support within clinics. To provide advice to patients with in the department enabling optimum treatment, via telephone enquiries and through health promotion information and/or information leaflets. Teaching new skills to patients to manage self-care. Dependent upon experience, act as a mentor to students. Supervision and training of unqualified and newly appointed staff. Ability to respond appropriately, giving support to distressed patients, relatives and carers during and following consultation. Supervision of the nursing team, referring to the department manager where appropriate. Demonstrate a working knowledge of the Trust Personnel and Health and safety Policies. To carry out and supervise prescribed treatments having evidence based knowledge, and ensuring patient information consent, to gain optimum recovery/ patient compliance. Keywords : Consett jobs
