Job Responsibility:

OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Payroll and accounts administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. This position requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in various payroll and accounting software.

Responsibilities

  • Process weekly payroll for approximately 140 employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Maintain and update employee records , ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Perform data entry tasks related to payroll, including new hires, terminations, and changes to employee information.
  • Assist with accounts payable functions as needed, ensuring timely processing of invoices related to payroll expenses.
  • Utilise accounting and payroll with Sage for effective payroll management
  • work with the accounts department on all aspects of accounts ( this is a split role between weekly payroll and accounts)

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a payroll and accounts administration role
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using Sage and excel systems and accounting software..
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective collaboration across departments.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
