We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Events and Communications Coordinator to play a central role in delivering the department's external engagement activities. This position focuses on coordinating and delivering a wide range of conferences, events, and communication initiatives, ensuring effective outreach and visibility of the department's work. Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Management: Lead the planning, coordination, and evaluation of internal and external departmental events, ensuring their smooth execution from start to finish. This includes acting as the main point of contact for event-related queries and maintaining efficient administrative systems to monitor and report on success.
  • Communications & Marketing: Support the department's communications by creating engaging content to promote events, activities, and research, such as newsletters.
  • Alumni Engagement: Deliver various alumni initiatives including an annual Alumni Event (London), and regular communication activities.
  • Digital & Social Media Engagement: Take an active role in managing social media channels and creating digital content tailored to various platforms. This includes producing high-quality visuals and multimedia using tools such as Adobe Suite, Canva, and email marketing tools such as Adestra.
